Charity
Begins In The Wardrobe
Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to research on the causes, treatments and prevention of cancer. More and more people are surviving cancer, but it could be even more with the help of the money raised by the bi-annual GiveGet campaign. Last time we raised an incredible £2.5 million worth of stock for the Cancer Research UK shops. It was one of the biggest charity clothing collections ever.
Cancer Research UK and TK Maxx are teaming up for the third time to run GiveGet. GiveGet is a campaign that asks you to spring clean your wardrobe, donate items you no longer want to our shops and help beat childhood cancers.
To get involved all you need to do is...
Sort it
Simply sort through your wardrobe and home for any unwanted quality clothes, accessories and homewares.
Bag it
TK Maxx are handing out thousands of GiveGet donation bags during February. If you don't have a GiveGet bag, please use an ordinary plastic bag instead. Each full bag could be worth around £30 to Cancer Research UK.
Drop it off
Drop off your donation at any Cancer Research UK shop or TK Maxx store between Saturday 23 February and Sunday 9 March 2008. With your help we can turn your donations into vital funds and help beat childhood cancers. In 2006 we raised over £2.5 million in stock. Please help us to raise even more this time by taking part and cleaning out your wardrobe.
