 Ronnie joins Parkgate on “I Love Rotherham” day

Rotherham United FC Manager, Ronnie Moore (foreground in photograph) popped into Parkgate Shopping to lend his support to last Friday’s (February 12) “I Love Rotherham” day celebrations.
He joined Parkgate’s manager, Denis Copeland (second right) and operations manager, Billy Smith (far right) to visit some of the Park’s retailers, who were raising money for local causes.
To his great delight he even encountered one of the Boots staff wearing his beloved Rotherham Utd strip during the day.
Parkgate Shopping has joined several other major local organisations as a main supporter of the “I Love Rotherham” campaign. “I love Rotherham”, created and run by The South Yorkshire Community Foundation, is a charity that supports small local charities in the region that work on behalf of local groups, local causes, local people and local issues.
