Denis’s Spell In Jail Earns A Reward For
Bluebell Wood
Some days are more memorable
than others. It is not often though that Denis
Copeland, Manager of Parkgate Shopping in Rotherham,
gets arrested, shares a cell with a top local
TV Presenter and a world boxing champion, and
then requests and receives over a thousand pounds
from colleagues and supporters for his freedom.
The events in question,
which took place on December 6, were in aid of
Bluebell Wood Children’s
Hospice. Denis participated alongside local celebrities
and business people from throughout South Yorkshire.
His contribution, among the highest thanks to
the generosity of his colleagues, helped the
Hospice raise over £20,000.
