Yorkshire Day is
Bluebell day at Parkgate!

Yorkshire Day was also Bluebell Day at the popular Parkgate Shopping Park in Rotherham. Shoppers who brought items they no longer require to the Park on August 1 were helping Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice to earn valuable additional funds.

The Park receives a £5 credit for each bagful of items that is collected, and hopes to raise up to £10,000 during the next year.

Denis Copeland, manager of Parkgate, urges his shoppers to take advantage of this great fund raising opportunity for such a worthy cause:” Yorkshire Day was a perfect day to start this great initiative, and we were thrilled by the response. The Van will be on the Park during the first Wednesday of each month, and the next collection is on September 5.

“We hope that as many shoppers as possible will choose to bring clothes, jewellery, toys, music, books are any other unwanted items to us so that we can raise thousands of pounds each year for the Hospice. Spare Bluebell bags are available in the Management Building alongside Marks and Spencer.”
